can this be made into a bracelet?
Great Ring! I was wondering about the finished product picture where it looks like the ring is floating.. how do you do that? Thanks, Kerri
@ Lucy Jones: Yes, it can, sort of. Google “Cellini Spiral”, which is what this form of tubular peyote is called. This is the basic pattern, expanded with small beads to form a ring (g-e-n-i-u-s, btw!).
You can make this tube as long as you like and the crystals will keep spiralling round and round the evolving bracelet or necklace.
I would suggest to start with maybe six small beads, two medium, two large, two crystals, two large and two medium. Then close the circle and start peyote-ing as described. Keep going and you’ll soon see the Cellini spiral forming.
