This cuff uses the lacquered lace I showed how to make in my last post. I used the pattern of the lace to make a triangular shape that falls over the back of my hand, but you could easily do this in all sorts of shapes.
Supplies:
– lacquered lace (click here for the how-to)
– very sharp scissors
– jump ring
– clasp
– jewelry pliers
Carefully trim your lace down to the shape you want – I followed the heaviest threads in the lace pattern and trimmed off the filler netting.
Push a jump ring through the lace, but keep it as far in from the edge as you can. Do the same on the other side, adding a clasp to that jump ring.
That’s all there is to it. It’s a great canvas for adding other things like beads, feathers or other embellishments, or leave it simple as I did.
